Wal-Mart Launches Beta Version of Music Store

On Thursday, Wal-Mart launched a public testing of its music store. The store features hundreds of thousands of songs priced at US$0.88/each, and albums priced at US$9.44/each, available in Windows Media Format.
The songs can be transferred or burned to 3rd party devices and is compatible with Windows Based PCs. The service is set to officially launch in 2004.
