Simple Plan to Record with Black Eyed Peas?

As Simple Plan wind down their non-stop 2-years of touring in support of their debut album, the pop-punk-rockers are soon going to concentrate on their next album.
They already have some material written for the album, which should be released sometime next year.
According to MTV, they are thinking about collaborating with the Black Eyed Peas and Rancid.
