CD Review: Galactic – Ruckus
Whatever you think you know about jazz is proven wrong with “Ruckus,” the fourth offering from the funky jazz band Galactic. Lead singer Theryl De’Clouet does not have the stereotypical moody jazz voice. Rather, he sounds like a rock star on this album. Further distancing themselves from any stereotypes linked with jazz, Galactic enlisted the producing talents of Dan ?The Automator? Nakamura (Gorillaz) for the album.
