Snoop Dogg will be playing a string of dates in Canada in December, and he will be taking soul and R&B singer Jenna G along with him.

The Kelowna, British Columbia-born Jenna G’s debut single, “Gentleman,” has been playing on radio stations across the country since the summer. The video is being played on MuchMusic and MTV.

Jenna G is ready to release the next single, “Best Thing.” Those two singles, as well a song called “Everybody Needs to Be Loved,” can be heard on the “Awesome Collective” CD, which also features Bishop, Kuya, Big Black Lincoln, Keiko and Reign.

She hopes to release a full album in the spring of 2004, which she says is about three-quarters done.

“There are a lot of the more acoustic warm ballads, as well as the club tracks,” she told andPOP recently. “We definitely want to have a record that is diverse that people can play in their cars. They can have the fast dance sort of songs and more moody ballads.”

The tour begins December 4 in Vancouver and wraps up in Sarnia on December 21. Choclair also opens.
