CD Review: Hatebreed – The Rise of Brutality
If there is one thing that is clear from Hatebreed’s “The Rise of Brutality,” it’s that frontman Jamey Jasta has a lot of rage. Either that or is he is an incredibly gifted actor. The Connecticut-based band has been around for about a decade, making similar head-banging heavy rock music, much like the 12 songs on this album. While it is hard for someone who usually listens to top-40 music to really get into this album, the combined talent of this band to create a thorough sound, unlike almost anything in the market, cannot be denied.
