Dave Bowman has left soulDecision, according to their official site. However, the pop group has turned into a quintet.

“With that chapter of sD closing, we are happy to announce a new chapter beginning,” a post by Ken Lewko, the keyboardist, reads.

Tino Zolfo, the new bass player, and James Reid, the new guitar player, have been part of soulDecision’s touring band for the past few years. The new drummer, Terepai Richmond hails from Australia, and was the drummer on their first album. They join Lewko and singer Trevor Guthrie.

They are near completion of a new album called “Shady Satin Drug.” The album might not be out until the spring of 2004, but a new single, “Light it Up,” can be purchased for downloading on Puretracks.

Meanwhile, Bowman has joined a band called “Seven Lies.”
