Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson will all return as judges when American Idol makes it return in January.

The third season of the show will debut on January 20 with a 2-hour special. It continues the next day with a 1-hour show, reports Variety.

It will then air Tuesdays (1 hour) and Wednesdays (half hour results show).

Ryan Seacrest also returns as host.
