On ABC’s televised red carpet special prior to the American Music Awards, viewers unfortunately sat threw interviews conducted by singer Monica.

Here is what I learned from Monica:

“You can’t have a red carpet without Hall and Oates.”
“You can’t have a party without Metallica.”
She loves the question “who are you hoping to see tonight” when she has no idea who she’s interviewing.
“I got the greatest guests.” (she reminded us of this fact after talking to each guest)
