RadTech Inc. is a company dedicated to keeping your valuables looking shiny and new. The iPod is apparently no exception with this company. The IceCreme and IceCreme M products are designed to remove and polish scratches and fingerprints off of both the1st, 2nd or 3rd generation iPods. We have broken up this review into the following sections: product outcome, ease of use and package contents.
Product Outcome: 5/5
This product did exactly what it promised it would. We used the IceCreme A & B polishes to remove any minor scratches from the LCD screen of our iPod to make it look reasonably cleaner, newer and of course much, much sexier. After following the instructions for the front side, we grabbed the IceCreme M bottle and applied it to the back of our iPod, cleaning the silver backing that included many fingerprints.
Ease of Use: 5/5
The IceCreme product, fortunately doesn?t take much skill to use. In fact, all you have to do is apply the polish and use one of the supplied, lint-free, cloths, while rubbing in a circular motion until the cream is gone. Yah, that?s right, it?s that easy. In fact it took us less than 10 minutes to clean our entire iPod. As the instructions say though, you could clean it for up to 45 minutes depending on how bad your scratches are.
Package Contents: 4/5
The package we received came with three polish bottles, and four lint-free clothes to use with the polish, and that?s all you need to get full capacity out of this product. The only downside with the contents is that we feel there should have been a few more cloths (incase we have more than 1 iPod).
Other Pros and Cons
- Provides multiple uses
- Can be used on any acrylic surface
- Low cost investment when you compare the fact that it makes your iPod look almost brand new
Final Thought: 4.5/5
It doesn?t matter if you have all the iPod cases in the world, face it, you can never prevent it from getting its first scratch, or second, or third (you get the point). The IceCreme product by RadTech is like your first aid kit. It?s a way to help you clean up those scratches and make them look a little cleaner. But you must remember, every cut leaves a scar and the only way to get rid of them completey is to get a new iPod. So until then, we strongly advise getting this product at its extremely affordable price to help you keep your iPod looking pretty.
