Diddy did it. Sean Combs, or number 30,972 as he was known Sunday, finished the New York City Marathon in 4 hours, 14 minutes, and 54 seconds.

It was just his first marathon and he was running on an injured right knee and on just two months training. He raised $2 million for charity, double than his goal. The money will be divided among two children’s charities and New York City public schools, reports the AP.

“Never in my life have I ever experienced anything as crazy as this,” Combs said Sunday at a news conference. “It was a beautiful experience.”

He said he wanted to stop and won?t run in another marathon. He lost 15 pounds in training.

When asked if this was a publicity stunt, Diddy replied, “Twenty-six miles isn’t a publicity stunt.”

In related P. Diddy news, officials in Honduras say they have found no evidence that support claims by a workers’ rights group that a factory that makes Sean Combs’ Sean John clothing line has violated that country’s labour laws.
