Bryan Adams to Thank for New Canadian Stamp

The photo of Queen Elizabeth II that will appear on new Canadian stamps was taken by singer Bryan Adams.
The Queen is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and pearls on the new 49-cent stamp, reports the Globe and Mail. The photo will be in circulation until the next postal rate change.
Adams took the photograph while taking part in the Golden Jubilee celebrations in February, 2002.
