BMG Canada Signs Another Canadian Idol Finalist
Audrey de Montigny, the French-speaking singer who made it to the final 4 on Canadian Idol, has signed a record deal with BMG Canada.
She becomes the second Canadian Idol to sign to BMG Canada/ViK.recordings, joining the show’s winner, Ryan Malcolm.
“I want to thank my fans for believing in me and having faith in me,” said Audrey. “Today, I have received word that I can continue my dreams, with the BMG family. It is the beginning of an adventure. I want to thank CTV, Insight Productions, 19 Management and my family for making all this possible.”
Audrey will release her first single near the end of October. A full length English/French album is expected early next year.
“Audrey is clearly a star; and, we are very excited to work with such a talented vocalist on her debut album. Her breathtaking voice, unassuming charm, and natural beauty will no doubt win her many more fans,” said Lisa Zbitnew, the president of BMG Canada.
