Jewel cancelled her upcoming North American tour on Thursday, a week after her bass player died.
Terome “T-Bone” Hannon suffered a stroke and died on September 4 in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
“T-Bone was a phenomenal player and we all loved him,” said Jewel. “We are all just in shock and hurt.”
Hannon, who was 39, was a member of Jewel’s band for the past three years.
