3 Million Watch Audrey Get Voted Off Canadian Idol
And the Canadian Idol winners is: Mr. ….
Well we know that much. The winner will be a male, as Audrey de Montigny was sent packing on last night’s show. This came as a surprise for two reasons. She became somewhat of a household name in Quebec, where people closed down car dealerships and stacked the floor with phones. Also, 18 per cent of the people who auditioned were male, yet the final three are all male.
A record 2.996 million people watched in the second half of the show.
Billy Klippert, Ryan Malcolm, and Gary Beals will each perform two songs next week: one inspired by someone they consider to be an idol, the other picked by the judges.
On Thursday, the final three will travel to their hometowns for autograph signings, interviews, and other appearances.
The show concludes September 16 with a two-hour grand finale.
