With Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake’s “Justified & Stripped Tour” in jeopardy, Aguilera’s mother says they are doing everything possible to makeup cancelled tour dates.

Some of the tour’s electrical equipment dropped from an arena ceiling in Atlantic City Saturday night, causing over $1 million in damage and forcing the cancellation of several tour dates. Three people were slightly injured. Neither Aguilera nor Timberlake were in the building at the time.

Recent reports said Aguilera would never tour again out of fears an accident like this could happen again.

“From what Christina tells me, she’s wanting to go back and make up any cancelled US tour shows,” Shelly Kearns, Aguilera’s mother, told andPOP Tuesday. “I’m therefore telling everyone to hold on to their tickets because they will be honoured as soon as possible.”

Whether or not the North American dates can be made up, Aguilera’s European tour, which is set to begin September 22 in Germany, should not be affected by the damage.

“The European tour dates, as far as I know, will go on as scheduled,” she said.
