Actress Brittany Murphy to Crossover to Music

Following in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez, actress Brittany Murphy (Uptown Girls, Just Married, 8 Mile) will head into the studio to record an album.
She will begin recording in November, she told MTV.
“It’s going to be a surprise,” she said, talking about how her music will sound.
She already recorded “Nobody Does It Better” by Carly Simon for “Little Black Book,” which she will also act in.
