Top-selling artist Ashanti will open for R. Kelly on his brief U.S. tour.

She will join the tour on August 15 in Oakland, California, and will open until it ends on August 30 in Atlanta.

In other Ashanti news, the singer will shoot a video for “Rain On Me,” under the direction of Hype Williams next month.
