MusicMatch Preps a la carte Download Service
(Editors note: We really should run a contest on who you think will launch the next music download service)
MusicMatch has announced that it will be adding an “a la carte” style downloading service to its current subscription based service in the fall.
Dubbed MusicMatch MX, the service plans to offer music to USA residents using Windows based PCs. They currently have 9 big name labels signed on, however Sony and Warner are still in negotiations.
More information on the cost of each track will be released at a later date.
