1 on 1 with NBA Player Rafer Alston
Rafer Alston was once named “the best point guard in the world not in the NBA” by Slam Magazine. That all changed when he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks in 1999 and with the Toronto Raptors in 2002.
Last year, he impressed the Toronto fans by showing off his signature street-ball moves, that landed him on the cover of Slam again, and a spot on the And 1 Mix Tape Tour.
When the tour stopped in Toronto, the 6 foot 2 Alston was greeted by cheers usually reserved for Vince Carter.
Before the game, Alston spoke with andPOP about embarrassing players on the court, the music he’s listening to now, and whether or not he’ll be back with Toronto next year.
