Three Move On to Final 10 in Canadian Idol
Mikey Bustos, Candida Clauseri, and Billy Klippert are the first three Canadian Idol participants to move on to the final 10, as revealed in Tuesday night’s episode where the public’s voting was revealed.
Clauseri, who sang Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” received the most votes, followed by Bustos, who sang Dan Hill’s “Sometimes When We Touch,” and Klippert, who sang “Superstar” by the Carpenters. They beat out Andrew Leader, who received the fourth highest amount of votes.
Those three move on from the first week of audience voting. A new group of 10 will compete next week and another group will perform the week after that, with three moving on from each week. An additional finalist (the “wildcard”) will be selected out of all those not selected to move on from their group.
The next new episode airs Monday night on CTV.
