He’s put down hundreds of Americans in the past two years with his insults on American Idol, and Simon Cowell will keep doing it for another three years. Cowell signed a new contract to stay on as an American Idol judge, but on a few conditions.

First, he wanted a truckload of money. He got it.

Second, he wanted Fox to help establish his own production company, simcow Ltd. Done deal.

Finally, Cowell asked for a new reality show. Sure thing.

The third American Idol season is set to begin in January 2004.
