CD Review: Monica – After the Storm
After
“So Gone,” the first single, produced by Missy Elliott, is excellent, but she really shines in ballads like “Hurts the Most” and “Breaks My Heart.” The best song however is reserved for DMX on “Don’t Gotta Go Home.” Sometimes even the best voices get overshadowed.
Look out for the free bonus disc, including a Busta Rhymes remix of “So Gone” and the music video.
