CD Review: Blu Cantrell – Bittersweet
If Blu Cantrell wanted to make a good 12-song CD, she succeeded with “Bittersweet.” The only problem is it’s nothing more than ordinary.
“Bittersweet” lacks what made her last album special and what put her on the music radar; it was different than everything else available at the time. It wasn’t the regular old R&B material that is found on this album.
There are some songs which standout, like “Breathe” featuring Sean Paul, and “Make Me Wanna Scream,” both of which could make it big on the radio.
