Round 2: Clay’s debut single outsells Ruben’s in its opening week by over 100,000 copies. Ruben 1, Clay 1.

Round 3: Coming August 19.

Aiken and Studdard will be having very busy summers. In addition to the American Idol summer tour, the two finalists will both be releasing their debut albums on August 19.

Both albums are still untitled, and it’s anyone’s guess how they expect to finish them so quickly and with such little free time this summer.
