Linkin Park Singer Says No Surgery Needed
Chester Bennigton, the singer in Linkin Park, says he will not need surgery for the chest and stomach pains that kept him in a Los Angeles hospital for nine days.
Doctors have told Benngton to rest for the next two to three weeks, and he should be ready for the Summer Sanitarium, which begins on July 4.
“I plan on… ripping everyone’s face off this summer on Summer Sanitarium,” he wrote on Linkin Park’s official site.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that he would need surgery on the mysterious illness.
“Right now it seems like it was some bacteria or virus that spread throughout my intestines and body, putting me in intense pain. It also would not let me eat for a week.”
