Metallica Debuts in First

Metallica debuts in first this week on the Billboard charts, selling over 400,000 copies of their latest album, “St. Anger.” The album was released on Thursday, instead of the regular album release date of Tuesday, meaning it only had half a week to register sales.
Jewel’s “0304″ sold 140,000 copies to debut in second.
50 Cent, Evanescence, and the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack round out the top 5.
