Beyonce Album to be Released 2 Weeks Early
In a move to “thwart internet piracy,” the release date of the solo debut of Beyonce Knowles has been moved up two weeks.
“Dangerously In Love” will now be released on June 24, her record label said in a press release. It had been scheduled for a July 8 release.
Her single, “Crazy In Love,” a collaboration with Jay-Z ,is the #1 Most Added record and #1 Greatest Airplay Gainer on Urban, Crossover, Rhythm, and Top 40 radio formats. The video was debuted this week on MTV and BET.
The album is full of guest appearances, including Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Sean Paul, Mark Batson, Mario Winans, D-Roy & Mr. B, OutKast’s Big Boi, Rich Harrison, Fanatic, Scott Storch, and Luther Vandros.
Beyonce will keep busy on a world tour, which is in the works. “The Fighting Temptations,” a film she stars in with Cuba Gooding, Jr., is set for nationwide theatrical release on September 19.
