RIAA Sends Kazaa Users Educational IM Messages

Last week users using the Kazaa or Grokster service received instant messages telling them that stealing music was illegal. The RIAA sent these messages to users who were sharing certain songs.
In other RIAA news, last week, andPOP reported that 4 college students were being sued for more than $98 trillion, for sharing more than 2.5 million files. The students have settled with the RIAA and agreed to pay fines between $12 000 and $17 000 over 3 years.
