Canadian rap-R&B star K-OS will play on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday.

This will mark his U.S. network debut. His video “Superstar Part 0″ has aired on MTV2 and BET.

K-OS will hit the studios in September to record his second album, “Joyful Rebellion.” He made the announcement on his web site’s message board.

He had previously told media, including andPOP, that he would not record another album, but as he said on his board, “I like contradicting myself….it’s proof that I’m alive!”
