50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” sold another 128,000 copies this week, earning the top spot on the Billboard albums chart, and bringing his total to 4.5 million albums sold.
The album actually sold fewer copies than it has in any other week since its February release, but still sold enough to regain the top spot.
“American Idol Season 2: All-Time Classic American Love Songs” sold 101,000 copies to debut in second. Idol’s winner, Kelly Clarkson, sold about 100,000 copies of her debut, “Thankful,” to finish in third. Clarkson’s total is now 500,000, earning gold status.
