John Mayer will continue allowing his fans to record his concerts this summer. Mayer has allowed fans to record the audio of his shows during the past, and his summer tour with the Counting Crows apparently will be no exception.

Just don’t go selling the bootlegs on eBay.

“All recordings must be used for personal use or trading only,” reads a post on his web site. “Selling or commercializing any recording is illegal and will jeopardize taping privileges for everyone.”

Some venues however may not allow recording devices. It is also unclear if the Counting Crows will allow concert goers to tape their set.

Mayer will hit the studio in the next few months to record his second album.
