The 10 American Idol contestants will release a charity single on April 15. But they won’t sing the song that they were originally planning.
The charity single will not be their performance of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA,” which they performed to rave reviews and a lot of media attention on a recent episode of the show.
They had planned on releasing “What the World Needs Now Is Love” by Burt Bacharach.
