R. Kelly Edges Out 50 Cent in Sales
R. Kelly and the “Chocolate Factory” sold 12,000 albums more than 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Trying” this week, despite a string of sexual allegations.
Kelly sold 532,000 albums this week in the U.S., making it his third number 1 album.
Norah Jones is in third this week for selling 123,000 copies of “Come Away With Me,” but will see a sure boost in sales from her 5 Grammy wins in next week’s sales.
Sales in Canada were a different story. He entered the charts at 14. 50 Cent continues his reign at the top, selling almost 22,000 copies.
