andPOP Grammy Coverage: How Did We Do With Our Picks?
In a night where Norah Jones surprised almost everyone in winning five Grammys, andPOP fared relatively well in picking the winners.
We went 8 for 12 — a success rate of 66.6 percent!
We picked Jones to win three awards. We had Bruce Springsteen winning Best Album and Avril Lavigne getting Best Pop Album, both won by Jones.
We had Alan Jackson taking the Best Song category. Why did we pick Jackson!! We thought there would be an upset there. We were wrong; Jones’ song won.
8 for 12 isn’t bad! Although we might not agree with the winners, we sure know how to pick ‘em.
