50 Cent Makes it 2 Weeks in a Row
As expected, 50 Cent sold the most albums in the U.S. and Canada last week, making it 2 weeks in a row that his album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” sits at number 1.
He sold 822,000 copies in the U.S., almost as much as he sold in his first week.
No other album came close. The second place Dixie Chicks sold 650,000 albums fewer than 50 Cent. Norah Jones, Kid Rock, and the Chicago soundtrack round out the top 5.
In Canada, 50 Cent moved 34,500 copies, almost 5000 more copies than in its first week. Shania Twain, Avril Lavigne, the Grammy compilation, and Norah Jones round out the top 5.
