Sessions for the second day of WWF Fan Axxess were sold out, meaning the lines at the event were longer. Much longer.
Like the first day, fans waited in line for up to two hours to get an autograph from their “favourite WWF superstars.” However, as some fans found out, many of the same wrestlers as the first day returned for the second. That meant, some people stood in line for an hour and a half to meet a wrestler, but when they finally reached the front of the line, that wrestler was switched with another, who the fans might have already met. When X-Pac sat down to sign autographs, many fans left the line, unhappy of his repeat performance.
Sean Michaels, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Jerry Lawler, Stacy Keibler, Steve Austin, and Killer Kowalski were just some of the WWF talent on hand to participate in events and sign autographs.
Security was very tight, especially around the autograph booths. They would not let fans stop for a split second to take a photo of the wrestlers, even if they stood from the side. Of course, this resulted in many patrons yelling at security, to the likes of, “we’re sick of standing in lines for hours, we just want to stand there for a second and take a photo,” to no chagrin.
Saturday’s Axxess promises to be better, with the confirmed appearance of The Rock, and the rumored appearance of Hulk Hogan. Of course, the lines can only get bigger.
