Wave is one of those success stories that you hear about it but don?t quite believe. Paul Gigliotti and Dave Thomson recorded a 4-track demo that was passed on to Warner Music. The label invited the boys to their office to perform the songs acoustically, so they drove from their homes in Niagara Falls to Toronto. After impressing the label representatives, they began to pack up their equipment in the parking lot when they were asked to come back in. Wave was offered a record deal on the spot. This year, after only being a duo since 1999, they released ?Nothing As It Seems,? which features their hits songs ?California? and ?Think It Over.? Wave took time to speak with andPOP about writing music, their crazy fans, and their ?feud? with rival band- The Moffatts!
