U2 to Play Super Bowl Halftime Show

Blues Brothers, Britney, and now U2. The Irish supergroup will perform at Super Bowl XXXVI on February 3 in New Orleans. An estimated 130 million U.S. viewers and 800 million more around the world will watch the annual NFL championship game, an NFL spokesperson told MTV.
U2 wrap up their North American tour this week, to support “Elevation,” which has sold an estimated 3 million copies in the U.S.
