Singer and actor Tyrese was injured Friday while riding his motorcycle in a California desert. He did not see a gull coming at him and he flew 50 feet in the air, MTV reports.

He was driving his 955I Triumph Datona, the same one in the “I Like Them Girls” music video. Tyrese was rushed to hospital, and is suffering from cuts and bruises all over his body and severe back pain.

His spokesperson told MTV that Tyrese is in stable condition. Tyrese hopes to have his third album come out by the fall, but it could be released in 2003, depending on his condition.
