Although TLC will not replace Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, the group plans to continue on. Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she, along with Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, would release their fourth album and continue performing.

“As for Lisa being replaced ? never,” Thomas said, according to the AP. “You can’t replace a TLC girl. The chemistry we have is something God gave us. You can’t put that together.”

An album had been scheduled for release in September, but the date is now up in the air. There should not be a problem finishing the album, as Lopes was not scheduled to appear on every track.

“The last couple of albums, Lisa was only on like three songs, and she’s on a few songs on this one,” Thomas said. “So music-wise, it’s the same.”

Jimmy Jam, the group’s producer, said Lopes had named the new album. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to give away what her thoughts were, but she had definite ideas for what the album should be titled and the way the music should sound,” he said, according to the AP. Lopes had named the previous three albums.
