Britney Spears has agreed to be the new “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” poster girl, according to dotmusic, based out of the UK. Spears will, apparently, strip for the anti-fur advertising campaign to make up for her recent appearance with a snake around her neck and caged animals on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“She took our message to heart,” a spokesperson for the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) told dotmusic. “We think Britney has set a great example of someone who listened to what we had to say and made a change. It’s very exciting news. We are really thrilled to have Britney join out new crop of fur-fighters”

Spears will no longer appear with animals in her live sets.
