Almost everyday, another story pops up citing unnamed sources that claim Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake have broken up. The New York Post had a photo in their paper Tuesday with Timberlake lunching with a woman. Could it be a new girl in his life? It was actually just his agent, Shani Rosenzweig.

US Weekly jumped the gun with their upcoming cover story. On it is a photo of the couple and the title, “It’s Over.”

A spokeswoman for the couple told USA Today, “They love each other very much and have not broken up.”

Another statement issued today read, “The demands on their time have naturally created a significant time apart, which could be misconstrued as a more permanent situation.”
