Report: Aaliyah Hesitant To Board Plane
Newsweek will report in their September 10 issue that Aaliyah was hesitant to fly in the little aircraft that crashed before she boarded last week. According to the publication, she had expected a larger plane, but agreed to fly in the twin-engine Cessna 402B.
“She was very upset at that plane the moment she saw it,” a friend who was with Aaliyah at the airport in the Bahamas tells Newsweek.
A charter private jet was offered by Instinct, the production company for her music video, but it would have taken a few extra hours to arrive- a few extra hours that the singer would have been away from home, but a few extra hours that would have saved her life. She wanted to get home because it was to have been her last weekend off before approaching a tough schedule.
