Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin and his fianc?e, Michelle Rubin, were arrested Sunday for investigation of domestic violence, the AP reports. They were booked at the Ventura County jail and released after each posted $20,000 bail.

Authorities said the two were spotted fighting in a car on the highway, driven by a third party, on the way to a video shoot. Several people used their cell phones to report a man forced a woman into a Jeep Cherokee. Sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers pulled the car over and arrested the couple.

Puddle of Mudd is set to begin a tour across the U.S. and Canada Tuesday.
