No Naked Ads for Spears
Britney Spears will not pose nude for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), despite a New York Times article that appeared this week stating she would.
“Contrary to what has been widely reported, Britney Spears was never going to appear in a PETA poster undressed,” a statement from her spokesperson said. “Because of the false exploitation, Ms Spears’ representatives have now declined any involvement with the organization.”
A PETA spokesperson said Spears was never asked to strip. They had hoped to take a photo of Spears entering the Centro-Fly nightclub in New York, where they do not allow fur to be worn. The ad was to say, “The only wildlife at Centro-Fly is human. No fur coats allowed.”
