‘N Sync and the Dave Matthews Band will play in smaller venues next year. Although grossing $90 million from this year’s stadium tour, ‘N Sync will play arenas beginning in the spring of 2002, Billboard reports.
Grossing $65 million this year from a combination of stadiums and amphitheaters, Dave Matthews Band will play arenas and amphitheaters starting in April.
“We’ve been in the stadiums for a while, and now we’ve made a conscious decision to downsize and make it easier on everybody,” said Coran Capshaw, the band’s longtime manager, to Billboard. “We went to stadiums to address the volume of people that want to see this band. When 50,000 people come to see the show, we’ve addressed that demand.”
