Myra an Artist on the Rise
Myra broke onto the music scene with her cover of the Motown classic “Dancing in the Streets” which was featured in the movie “Recess: School’s Out.” Her next song, “Miracles Happen,” was featured in “The Princess Diaries,” starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews. In the summer, her debut CD called “Myra” was released and the 15-year-old embarked on a career which she hopes will earn her “a Grammy, or 2, or 3, or 4,” and will release a Spanish album called “Milagros” in the fall. She’s opened for Aaron Carter on two of his tours and on a recent stop in Toronto, Myra took time to speak to andPOP on her tour bus.
