Clive Davis’ next big project, R&B singer Mario, is scheduled to film the music video for his first single this weekend, MTV reports. “Just a Friend 2002″ is a remake of the Biz Markie hit of 1989.

The song, in which the video is being filmed in his hometown of Baltimore, will hit airwaves later this month.

Mario’s first album is set to drop on June 25 and feature production work by Alicia Keys. Keys was Davis’ big project of last year, and if her 5-Grammys are any indication, Mario will have a successful debut album.
