Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson are engaged to be married, her publicist says. Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, proposed to the actress on Thursday in Las Vegas.

The couple began dating in April 2001 when they met backstage at the VH1 Divas covert. Anderson has two children with ex-husband Tommy Lee. Rock has never been married and has one son.
