Janet to Quit Touring?
First Barbara, now this…
Janet Jackson, who has been battling with canceled tour dates, says she might just quit touring altogether.
“Touring is very grueling. It’s very taxing on the body and living out of your suitcase, going from city to city, night after night. It’s a tough job,” Jackson told Extra, according to Reuters.”
“If I could find a way to do this within a month, two months, and hit every place that I need to go, I would definitely do it again. I’m trying to figure out a way to make it work for everyone in that way, but, if not, it may just be my last one.”
The interview aired Wednesday. Her tour ends February 16.
Seeing a Jackson show is a treat. Her stage presence is simply incomparable. However, she is known to cancel tour dates for silly reasons, such as a toothache. The show must go on, but not for Janet. If you are able to see a show before this tour ends, go see it.
